1. General Provisions
These Terms of Use (hereinafter the "Terms") govern the purchase of retro automotive spare parts, use of the online store, digital catalog diagrams, and AI consultation services provided on the website teakoht.ee by Teakoht OÜ (Registry code: 16835244, Tallinn, Estonia; hereinafter "Seller", "we", or "us").
By placing an order, browsing technical diagrams, or interacting with the AI chat assistant, the user (hereinafter "Customer" or "Buyer") agrees to be bound by these Terms.
2. Services and Nature of the AI Consultation
The Service provides an e-commerce platform for retro car parts (such as ZAZ, LuAZ, VAZ/Lada, GAZ, Moskvich, etc.), interactive exploded-view parts diagrams, and an AI-powered technical assistant.
- Informational Character of AI: Information, part numbers, compatibility suggestions, and exploded drawings provided by the AI Assistant and Knowledge Master are based on historical manufacturer manuals (1960–1990s) and are for reference and guidance purposes.
- Customer Verification: Due to variations in vehicle production years, factory revisions, and historical modifications, the Buyer is encouraged to verify exact dimensions, part codes, and physical compatibility before installation.
3. Condition of Retro Automotive Spare Parts (NOS Definition)
Given the vintage nature of retro vehicles, spare parts offered in the store are categorized as follows:
- NOS (New Old Stock / New from Old Stock): Brand-new, authentic, unused original parts manufactured in historical production eras and preserved in long-term warehouse storage. These parts have never been installed on a vehicle. Due to vintage storage age, packaging or preservation coatings may show signs of time.
- Refurbished / Restored: Original vintage parts professionally cleaned, tested, restored, or reconditioned.
- Used (B-grade / Tested): Genuine original used parts in verified functional condition.
The specific condition, available photos, and technical specifications are detailed on each product card or confirmed during chat consultations.
4. Pricing, Orders, and Payment
- All prices on the Website are displayed in Euros (€) and include or exclude applicable VAT as stated.
- Orders may be placed through the online shopping cart or confirmed via customer service chat.
- Secure Electronic Payments: Online card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and European bank links are securely processed through our licensed payment partner Stripe. Payments may also be completed via direct bank transfer upon invoice.
- The sales contract is deemed concluded upon receipt of payment or written confirmation of the search request by the Seller.
5. Shipping and Delivery via Swotzy Logistics
- Delivery is coordinated through our logistics platform Swotzy and fulfilled via automated parcel lockers (Omniva, DPD, SmartPost Itella), courier services, or international postal delivery across Estonia, the Baltic states, and the European Union.
- Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the parcel dimensions, weight, and destination.
- Estimated delivery times: in-stock items are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days; custom-sourced rare parts may take 7–21 days as agreed during the search inquiry.
6. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day EU Consumer Return Policy)
- In accordance with the Law of Obligations Act of the Republic of Estonia and EU Consumer Rights Directives, a consumer Buyer (natural person) has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods.
- To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must send a clear written statement to kontor@teakoht.ee within the 14-day window. Detailed return shipping instructions will be provided via email.
- Returned items must be undamaged, complete, in their original condition, and safely packaged. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the Buyer unless the item received was defective or incorrect.
- Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item using the same payment method (e.g. Stripe / bank account) used for the original transaction.
7. Warranty and Non-Conformity of Goods
Consumers are entitled to submit claims regarding non-conformity of goods in accordance with the Estonian Law of Obligations Act. In case of a defective item, please notify us immediately at kontor@teakoht.ee with photos and description of the defect.
8. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
Disputes shall primarily be settled through amicable negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, a consumer Buyer has the right to turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) at Pronksi 12, 10117 Tallinn, email: avaldus@komisjon.ee, or use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
